    Lost customer

    Just wanted to let you know that you lost a good customer. I ordered the Max Spec Grye pump and Ice cap module to realize after I installed it into my aquarium that there was no power supply. When I called your customer service and spoke to Omar he said well you ordered the wrong item to get it to work with your Apex. You need the one that comes with the controller as well as the icecap module, that the icecap module bypasses the maxspect controller. This wasn't clear on your website. Omar then told me that he could send a box to return it but I would be charged a 15% restocking fee, plus the cost difference of the new setup. I understand the cost difference of the new setup but a 15% restocking fee for bad wording on your own website.

    I'm keeping the setup and just going thru one of your competitors to get this system working.

    Iíve had a similar issue with them too. I wonít buy anything from them again. Try bulk reef they will accommodate you if you have issues

    Funny you said that, I called bulk reef supply after and they said you don't need to return it. Just buy the controller so I did. I also picked up a triton method setup since they guy was able to answer all my questions on it.

    Just an update, Marine depot did call me to see what happened. We both agreed asset this point there isn't much they could do but they did say they'll update their website to avoid confusion
