Is it ok to have the t5 bulbs uncovered? Like not have the acrylic or glass cover on the bulbs? Not sure if its a UV thing to protect the coral or fish.

I have two 250 watt each MH. Bulbs work but should probably be replaced. Asking $15 each obo.

The pump stopped working out of the blue. The only time I can get it to work is if i have it out of the water and help it spin. Ive read about people replacing the impeller. What im thinking is 1. Replace the pump w/impeller 2. Replace just the impeller. Any suggestion's ?

Im planning my upgrade from 40B to 75. My question is what light are people using on their 75 gal. A pic of how it looks on your tank would be a nice visual. A quick pros and cons would be appreciated too. Thanks!
