Basement pods

Does anybody culture copepods in their basement? Looking for tips and help. I'd like to keep this cheap, low maintenance and DIY. What species does best at 65F? Set up ideas? I read some species will happily eat dries spirulina powder? Thanks!

I don't know if they are on the forums but I think there is someone in the Streamwood/Bartlett area that cultivates pods
