Very good plan...How about Red Sea 450? 103 gallon...?
I ended up getting the 350 because someone i knew wanted to upgrade so I ended up taking their tank. I wouldn't mind going with a 450 either but at the time I got the tank that was what was available.

That's fine, Red Sea tanks always look good.

Tested them in a 20 gallon tank and they sure do move water.

A few comments so far about these pumps that could have been done better.

#1. The connection between the power supply and the controller is weak. I am concerned the power could easily cut off.
#2. Instruction manual could be better. Does not explain how to configure rotors for the various modes.
#3. I hear the pumps (may need to be broken in). The vortechs I currently have are near silent. Maybe i've been spoiled. I will see how they sound in the real tank but so far they can be heard.

That said they move water and I don't see how I could have any dead spots in the display.

The undertow the vortechs create is par none....
Even with the gyre some still add the vortechs for the undertow that lifts up detrious off the substrate and lifting to the surface to skim into overflow. Many pumps can move water. In turn its mostly movement...pushing water from one side to the other. Waves and such. But your right, youve been spoiled one way or another.
Build looks good.

How much for the n300? superchargedgp

And does the range extender mean...it can make something wireless? I just thought it was an extender to a already wifi to get better signal.

Yes it makes my classic apex "wireless". I connect the cable from the extender n300 to the apex. It no longer needs to be connected to the router. But not sure if the firmware updates will work with it though.

That extender was on sale for black friday but i wasnt sure it would work for that purpose.
