Hey guys
So wifey gave me the green light to start another tank lol (YES!!) So im currently in the hunt for a cheap 10g or less nano. Preferably a aio tank. So my plan is to make this as low of a maintinance tank as possible, doing only monthly water changes or just topping off fresh ro or saltwater..
My question for this build is do u guys think i would need a skimmer for this tank?
So my plan is to have a nice size sandbed with a good amount of live rock and either a wp10 or a koralia pump. Lighting would be one of Coral Compulsions refugium light. And regarding livestock only considering adding a mantis shrimp or a flame prawn goby..
Macro algae i have so far for this build:
Chaeto
Red Gracilaria
Halimeda
Sargassum
Red Mangroves
Macro Algae i need to get:
Ulva
Laurencia
Dictyota
Red Titan
Fire Fern
Red Asparagus
Flame Algae
Scroll Algae, Padina spp.
Dragon Breath
Blue hypnea
So what i will do prior to adding the macro algae in this new build is have it grow out for a couple months in my sump and then slowly acclimate them to this new build for better chance of success.
If anyone local has any of these macro algae lmk i'd rather get them local then online
More to come
