Coralife 10,000K white and Actinic Blue

So i don't know if i am overlooking at this concern of mine about my Actinic blue light but visually when I turn it on by itself, my eyes will see purple (more on the lighter side) but the funny thing is when I take a picture with a camera, it'll show blue??!?!?

I swear i'm not colorblind and i can distinguish my colors with 20/20 vision. Is this normal? Am i over-reacting? Or is the light fixture going bad and I need to change it?

This is normal per my experience. Unless you are using a high end camera with the white balance and ISO tweaked, most cameras do not take well to reef lighting blues and even most reef colors. My old Point And Shoot Sony would wash out both blues and warm whites.

But actinic itself has different spectrums I think 420nm is more purple/pink while 450nm is bluer.
