Currently upgrading from a 65g to a 150. I plan on picking up the tank from skunkerx on this coming Friday. I was planning on drilling but I don't know where the best spot would be along with the size I would need to any info from people that have done it please let me know and any other advice. Pictures will be up on either Friday or Saturday of this week.

Tank has been picked up and drilled pics will be up later tonight. Stand and tank will need to be cleaned along with stand possibly being modified to fit the 40 breeder.

Currently need some help with picking a good return pump. Was thinking of doing a Mag 12 not sure though.

Mag 12 will be great, or a Mag 18, with a valve tree to feed reactors, will save space and reduced extra heat not needing extra pumps later. A globe or ball valve on the return line will allow you to fine tune the flow just the way you want it.

agreed with fishbeards idea. I did that on my 20gal at my apartment and it was great. In my 75 now, i have a seperate maxijet just for a carbon reactor... but i have a decent sized sump so it fits. So plan for it now and it'll be worth it in the future when u do get a reactor or reactors

Going to be putting picks up in a few. Just put in a order for my Ro/Di system from BRS along with my Mag 18. I also ordered my bulk heads and lock-line from glass-holes so should recieve everything within the next week hopefully.

Does anyone know if this would work as a return. It'll meet at a Y in the middle with flex pipe along with the same thing on the other side.

Looking Good! He was eating flakes and about everything, except he couldn't eat pellets at 1mm (too big), but might be able to eat .5
