Found this in my 55 today, not sure what it is?

Found this in my 55 today, not sure what it is? Anemone or Zoo?

Looks like it has a brown or orange center. I'll try to get a top shot. I do have a couple peppermint shrimp in the tank.

Looks more like a zoo than an aipstasia.

little pain in butt nem they spread like crazy and sting everything . thats what i thinl they come in all different colors
 
My philosophy is that if it isn't pretty enough to purchase and put in your tank then it probably grows like a weed and will take over your tank. Only the ugly stuff seems to do that :)
 
Only one in the tank and the lighting isn't strong at all. I have a fluorescent T8 and over the anemone or whatever it is a marineland double led. I don't have anything but live rock in the tank and wasn't planning on growing a reef in the 55. I have a 25 that is separate from the 55. I have a 10 gallon I could break the live rock its on and grow it in the 10. Be interesting if it turns out to be a rose bulb tip or something else.
 
I'm picking up a 10 or 20(long) tomorrow morning to break the LR and put it in the tank. Want to see what happens just for fun. Figure I could use the 10 as a intrusive species tank. If it turns out that its not aiptasia that would rock! lol
 
Walked into PetCo before work and saw they had the $1 per gallon sale. Picked up a 29gal. Figure i'll set it up and eventually turn it into a sump after figuring out what that thing is. Walked thru the fish area and saw an aiptasia in one of the tanks but it doesn't look like that. Guess I need to get a better shot of it.
