Looking for moorish idol

Looking way ahead, (gotta stock the rest of the 120g first), would a 29g be big enough for QTing a juvie? Or would more horizontal swimming room be needed?

That should b good. Most lfs use smaller... I wouldn't go smaller then the 29 and get a small one.

I saw a few yesterday at Aquarium adventures in hoffman estates. They are 50% off right now. Not sure if they were eating or not though.

My Idol was a good reef fish except for slowly eating all the nice zoas and palys. I cared more for the fish, so I let him be.

Thanks for the heads up but thats one of my places on the "do not buy livestock from" list. Also that sale makes me laugh the Idol is probably $120ish so the sale takes him down to $60ish which is what all the LFS sell for everyday haha...

You sure you weren't there today? You hit that one on the head!

Lmao they were one of our many competitors while I worked in the trade so I know there tactics to sucker people with their fancy sale signs. We're they at least nice looking? I might stop over there later if they still do that BOGO sale on food. That's the only thing I see worth it.

You are right on the prices lol. They actually raised prices on most of their stuff for the "50% off sale" from the prices they had listed for them before the sale started just so that the 50% would even it back down to close to their normal everyday price. Its ridiculous!

BOGO Food was there, but it was their own brand, so I'm not sure it's worth it. The Idols were all grazing on some rock and had growing dorsals, but they weren't exceptionally healthy or anything...

Not everything was that much higher than normal; with the discount, I got a mystery wrasse for $65 and a pair of mandarins for $30. They should have been less, but still...

Alright well I don't want this to get to far off topic lol so if anyone knows where there are healthy Idols let me know!!
