I went through an exisiting floor vent so i didn't need to drill any holes. As u can also see my house had a drip channel mounted to the wall so i just laid the drain/return right into it and ran it to my fish room.

Its' been running for 4 days now. My thoughts

Very happy with it. Deffinatly will be doing it on every future build lol
My display tank is pretty much dead silent.
Evap has gone done now with the sump being in the colder basement
Display temps have gone down and stay down
Having an entire stand open to anything i want to store is awesome

If u have the opportunity to do it and have been thinking about it. Dont hesitate. Best thing iv'e done to my system.

Also picked up 2 new frags :spy:

Lime aid rtn'd over night. Only thing i can think of is temp swings lately from the sump. Other day i woke up at it was 75* and so i put a heater (additional) and got it back up to 80*. Its been fluctuating a lot lately. I'm gonna buy 2 larger heaters.

How sensitive are sps to temp swings?

They seem to be pretty darn sensitive to everything. And that's quite a temp swing.

Something that I'm trying from ostrow on RC is to leave anything in the tank. He said that certain sps around the 90-100+ day mark started to show polyps again...something to think about nooooooooob :) (sorry for Ur loss, I know exactly how it feels)
