Bryman's 90G Tech

Thanks guys, it's still very much a work in progress. But I have a feeling as soon as I can get the Ca reactor situation straightened out it will take the tank to the next level.
I have another leak in my Aquamaxx S-1, and it was barely keeping up with my Alk/Ca load almost maxxed out. Aquamaxx is going to take my S-1 back to research all the issues I had and are sending me an S-2 to replace it. I have to say they've had good, proactive customer service with all the build/design issues I've had.

Any LFS in the area sell course ARM media? I'm gonna need more for this monster.

Bryan,

First off, amazing SPS tank! I have a 90g TECH, as well, although mine is just in it's infancy at 2 months. I have been slowly adding LPS and what not waiting for the tank to mature a little, before I started adding SPS. I just revamped my aquascape and my parameters are settling in, so I am about to start loading in SPS frags to hopefully someday have a beautiful tank such as yours. If you want to sell me some frags in the near future, I would love to see your tank in person and buy a few! Keep the pics coming!

I just found your build thread on RC. I sure wish I had read it a few months ago lol. Are you still running the reef-octo BP reactor? I purchased the same one and have since taken it offline until I have a larger bioload. Was an awesome read over on RC, thanks for sharing here!

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the kind words. It's still very much a work in progress, but it's coming along. I am still running the reef octopus BP reactor, but only with about 200ml of pellets. I'm letting the refugium do most of the work now instead of BPs and then refugium.

I just found a few frags in the frag tank with redbugs, so I've gotta put my tank on QT for a few weeks. I dipped everything in Revive for 10 mins and watched those suckers fly off. Everything looks clean now, but I need at least 2 weeks to see if any come back and allow the frags to recover. I don't see any in my DT but will keep a careful eye on it. I don't want to use the last of my Interceptor stash unless absolutely necessary!

Well hopefully it comes under control quickly, without too much headache! Keep me posted when you are ready to sale off a few frags! After showing my wife your tank, I think she finally "gets it" ;)

Cool, when I am confident all is clean you guys can come over and check it out. Redbugs really aren't too big of a deal, but I would rather not run the risk of spreading the little f'ers.

They sent me the bigger S-2 in exchange for the S-1 at no extra charge. I have to say their customer service was proactive and very good between Aquamaxx and Marine Depot. They contacted me first after seeing my post about the issues I had on RC.
