I need a new skimmer

I have a 36 gallon bow front, I have an old protein skimmer that's pretty much on its last leg, its leaking air bubbles into the tank. I would like to get a new one, but I'm a little clueless as to what would be a good by for a tank this size. I want a hang on skimmer, and preferably something that's really quiet. Right now I've got about 5 fish in the tank, with no corals. Any other questions let me know, but I could definitely use some recommendations.

I have a Bubble magnus NAC6 skimmer FS. Can handle up alot more than a 36g if you decide to ever go bigger.

The NAC6 is a great skimmer...if you have a sump, but considering you're looking for a HOB skimmer, I would look into the Reef Octopus; they make great HOB skimmers.

Reef Octopus bh-1000 check it out its an awesome skimmer from what I've seen I know herbie had one and said it was awesome.

So I went with the Reef Octopus Bh-100 and it works great nice and silent, the only problem is the pump is very gray and the rest of my tank is very black. I need some way of fixing this, i.e. paint or a different pump or fake greens.

Krylon fusion paint is reef safe when dried. Many people used it in their reef tanks. I would spray it with black and it should do the trick.

Gino, if you give it some time the coralline algae will start to grow over it.

Or get a black acrylic box like an overflow to cover it
