Advice on a fish

So I have a 54G corner tank with: 2 Mocha Clowns, a ruby red scooter dragonnet, a fire fish, a purple dottyback, a bicolor blenny. I would like to get one more fish but im not sure which one would be a good fit. I tried a Twospot Hogfish but it turned homicidal and started trying to kill everyone, it also ate my fire shrimp and killed a fire fish before i caught it.

So i was looking at a: Yellowtail Damselfish or Bristletooth Tomini Tang or hutchi anthias

Could someone share some advice. I want the fish to be healthy and happy and not fighting. Also a plus if the fish dont nip at corals.

To be honest, a 54 is too small for the tomini long term. The damselfish can be agressive. The Anthias is a 125gal fish per LiveAquaria so again not a good long term choice. As much as I dislike recomending a damsel, of the three it'd be the best to fit in the tank. I'd recommend seeing if any other fish grab your interest before adding a damsel.
 
how about a 6-line/yellow/mystery wrasse? they also help to get rid of some critter and not hurt your shrimp and fire fish
 
Wrase an anthias IMO pretty fish but not to personable. That's just my experience. I like looking at things in my tank, not trying to look for them.

I'd go with a Sea Apple! ️
 
I also have a 54 corner my live stock is a Blue Tang, Blonde Naso tang, Niger Trigger, Pair of Flurry Clowns, Cleaner wrasse, purple dottyback, and two damsils.

I know the Tangs and Trigger will out grow it eventually but I gave them tons of rock work so they seem happy and none of them are aggressive with each other. My only regret is the damsils. I will never be able to get them out without pulling all the rock work out.

I would avoid the damsils if I had to do it all over again.

My 2 cents.

So the yellow wrasse looks cool. Would it eat copepods? Because my dragonnet eats those 90% of the time. Dont want them to compete for food.

Thats what i thought too. Wanted to ask for advice, so thank you for you opinions:)

Thank you for the input:) i want fish that wont out grow my tank. But i agree the fish u have are awesome. The trigger pics make me jealous:)

two tangs and a trigger in a 54 and your worried about the damsels? it depends on which damsel. I have a yellowtail and have added fish since and it doesn't bother anything. I would not add any tang to that tank. you have a dragonette so be careful not to add any pod eaters.

Mystery wrasse will eat shrimp and kill fire fish trust me i had all three and mystery wrasse is only one left lol.
 
So u have a delima all wrasses eat pods so u best bet for a wrasse would be a fairy wrasse they dont hunt as much they will eat pods but not as aggressivly as corris and six line type wrasses. Second is that dotty back anything to timid will probably be picked on and bullied by it thats just from my experiance with then maybe i just got a mean one but can be a possibily specially with new comers

The large damsil likes to kick up sand and id much rather have a nicer fish in the tank over two damsils however it seems im stuck with them now.
 
why not consider a fish with some personality... a Jawfish :)

Midus Blenny is another good choice mine decided go carpet surfing sadly. One day when the damsils are gone maybe I will try again :)

And the blue spotted jawfish is a sexy little fish but a bit Pricey?
