Looks great dad! I've got my fingers crossed for water in the tank next time I'm home! Glad you decided to paint the back of the 2 frag tanks!

Did some more plumbing last nite.

drains from frag and DT 45 on the botton to support pipe, drilled incase of blockage

Skimmer question I want to put this in my sump but to tall. I want to remove the center and cut down the down draft tube to make it a predatior I insteed of a II any thoughts.

That's quite an extensive plumbing job you have there. How'd you learn to do that? I'm lucky, my hubby is a 40yr pipefitter. ;)

Thanks onepoorreefer I went to homedepot and picked up the liner they use for tile in a shower works great. I will post pic tonight. got the plumbing done and filled first 70 gal and NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!

-First thing I don't mean to be Debbie downer here!!
-Second, wow what a set up from top to bottom!!
Now as a plumber the first thing that came to mind as I was looking at the pic's
and couldn't really see to good from the pic's. But how old is the water heater and when its time will you be able to get it out with out removing parts of your set up!!?

Thanks Billy, I'm on my fourth water heater in 17 years. I can remove the storage tanks (empty) and lift up and out. I was talking to my oldest if we loose another heater that I will replace it with heat on-demand. The first 3 heaters rotted the drip tube and would always clog sink and shower heads.

Tankless heaters are very nice. Especially if hot water is always in used at your home, not so good if your on a well water tho.
The units and install cost are very high.
Newer units used PCV venting which lowers material and install cost.
But, those units are higher priced. lol Dam if you do and dam if you don't!!

O.K. here are some updates.
sump liner MUST HAVE !!!! works great $30.00 home depot fast install
fuge drain to high got this for free and had to drill in one more hole and plug 2 no big




pump plumbing done


throttling the valves are hard to balance move one and water level changes in all. I would do it differant like a tree

My daughter came home from collage this week end :8party:and we started to make salt water last night. Mixing in 4 tanks is hard to get temps and salinity to match with time its all balancing out. We are in a closed loop in the basement and adding salt to sump.
