I have been reef keeping for about 4 years now and have had all various sizes through that time from a 5g all the way to 250g. Life always makes things interesting yet staying in the hobby is something I enjoy more than anything. I am starting back up with a Biocube since they are my favorite nano type tanks and until life has settled they can be easier to move too. :wink (2):

Equipment:
14g Coralife Biocube
Ecotech MP10wES
Maxi-Jet Pro 900
Reefkeeper Elite
100w Hydor Theo Heater
InTank Media Basket

Rock and Sand
15lbs of Live Rock
20lbs of Tropic Eden Reeflakes

Fish
ORA Snowflake Clownfish Pair
ORA Spotted Mandarin
Yellow Watchman Goby

Coral
Zoas
Acan
Frogspawn
Pulsing Xenia (for now)
GSP
Duncans

CUC
Blue Legged Hermits
Astra Snails
Cleaner Shrimp

Pictures!

So, first post was totally useless but it got my setup posted!

Everything but my MP10wES came in over the week so we were off and building the aquarium Friday night and Saturday morning.

I never thought you could fit so much in a 14g tank! :heeeelllllooooo:

The equipment so far!

Reefkeeper Elite, how to overkill!

Live rock!

The inside!

Back of version 3 Biocubes!

These false floors are out of here!

Water hold test!

Parm check!

First hitchhiker, a snail is better than other potentials!

FTS!

I settled on a basic rock setup for now. Nothing fancy but gives me a lot of space to work with in the aquarium. Here we go!

Looks great. Overkill is better than underkill! What mode are you using on the mp10?

Looking foward to seeing more pictures! If you need any help with the RKE don't forget we gotcha yo back!! LOL
Made some changes and added some stock this week. I will try to get some pics tonight! I had the RKE running on my old 250g, it's a breeze on this thing. :thumb:

looks good, lol @ the pic of the biocube box! nothing like giving people bad idea's on stocking a 14G cube!

"but the picture on the box lead me to believe I could keep 6 fish! including a tang!" lol

Good catch, that's hilarious!! You have to have a "Dori" and a "Nemo" on the box!!

Tank is off to a great start, Jeff!

Updated first post with a new FTS. Things are settling in nicely after a first water change and added on the MP10wES this week.

Updates! The tank has been smooth sailing these past few weeks. I had some zoas melt on me last week but they were newer and sometimes I never can figure out why some will thrive and others just don't want to stick around. Fish are doing great and eating crazy. I finally burned my Live Aquaria credit on what I think are an amazing pair of ORA Snowflake Clownfish. Most coral in the aquarium are from Reefwise, Aquapros or Reef Plus. 3 great shops and always have great stuff!
