Don't Judge Me!!!! Chgoblknazn / KeishaKornbread's New Build

Cool setup! I like your stocking plans. There aren't enough non reef-safe fish around here. What kind are you thinking about? Usually, those kinda fish are a bit bigger.

HA!!

I haven't decided on a 'scape. I played around with some rocks but I think I need to order more and create something. I need to take a look at other Minis.

As for the light, I haven't decided. This is going to be a Fish Only tank for not-reef-safe fish and it too will be barebottom. I do know I want LEDs so I might do a AI Nano or use one of the 3 Maxspect Mazarra modules I currently have. It's in the bedroom and leveled with shims but I grabbed the wrong extension cord at Home Depot so I'm done with playing with it for the night.

I'll need small ones, and since I like Angels, Lionfish, Groupers, Anglers, etc. I will have a lot to research to do. Again, I will only keep tiny ones, so once they get to big, expect them to be kicked out my house. I'll practically be a foster parent going forward.

If u like... u can try a wartyskin frogfish or u can go with the bigger species of frogfish.. the only thing is you wont be able to keep other fish in the tank or else they will become dinner...

I have seen someone though keep two wartskin frogfishes in the same tank.. but thats 50/50 though

So I've been working on this thing for a while now and I'm going to keep taking my time. I want to do this right and not rush anything. Anywho, my perfect sized rock came in thanks to Eddie(DJE) and I found the proper sized drain hose for this bad boy while I was in Milwaukee at Best Fish and Eddie again saved me with a piece for the return. I LOVE HIM!! And Daisy loves his family!

Last week I leveled the tank and this week I spent time working on my aquascaping. I have learned that it's best that I use JB Weld to create my structures. This way it stays the way I want and I am forced to love my work instead of digging in my tank weekly adjusting rock. The structures are all secure and in sections in case I need to dismantle things. Using it will allow you to make some really nice caves and formations.

Last night I was finally done with the rock and today I decided to drop the rock in and water. I am so happy that I could spit!! Here are the pics....
