economy 75 GPD 4 stage rodi unit

hi

just got my 4 stage rodi unit and well its working

but its putting out around 5 gallon per hour .. thats 120 gallong per day


is it ok to get 120gpd from a 75 gpd unit ?

lol no waste water is from black tube and thats even more flow would take like 15 mins to fill that same 5 gallon bucket

I believe brs says to run it for an hour and dispose of that water and then start from there.

i just observed something

the container with the black catridge is the ro membrane right ? ?

that container is only half filled ... like its not filled to the top before putting out water is this normal ?

Whether or not it can or cannot make more than the membrane is supposed to, you shouldn't make more than the max. Really, if the tds is 0, there's nothing wrong with it working so well. Maybe you have excellent water pressure...but tds should be measured before and after the di just so we know it's working right.

+1 as long as your tds coming out of the di is 0 then all is good. Can you get us the tds of the product water?

well, everything can be added ala carte from BRS. It just might cost you a few bucks more than having it all in one package. You can buy a pressure guage at HD most likely. A TDS meter would be very good to know if you are bypassing something internally.

i called BRS and they said they will send a new ro membrane housing .. is that what might be the problem ?? are there any changes that ro membrane itself is hosed ??
