Yes, a long time ago. That's why I have the problem now. The funny thing is I had new neighbors come over and they were checking out the tank and the wife points to the bubble algae and said "Oh, those are cool looking" lol

I considered it this past summer when my air conditioner went down and the tank overheated and crashed. All my fish survived but lost most of my sps and lps colonies. I just hate the time and effort I spent on it only to have it wiped in one weekend. Then I thought about the enjoyment it gives...

Although I check CR daily, I do go to R2R mainly for Randy Holmes Farley and his expertise. If I have a question that needs to be answered, I would google it and it's usually R2R that would be the first on the list.

Not mine, but love these guys, so much personality. I just wish they were reef safe.

So after nearly breaking my cuvets twice today I decided to make a holder out of pvc pipe and acrylic. Hopefully this will offset my clumsiness.
