I would like to build a frag/grow out tank .....I would like to build it 18 x 18 so I could use one par 38 led ...... What would be the best depth seeing as how I like the shallow top down viewing look. I can make the sump larger to increase the total volume or is that not a good plan?

Soooo I have never fragged but I have a little Xenia farm frowing. Is there any interest in this stuff. I know people typically give it away. Is it worth trying to make some smaller frags for practice and maybe be able to give away more pieces??? It was in my sump but now I needed that room

My water hasn't been as clear as I would like so I had an idea. I placed a strip of felt that I had bougth for filter socks on top of the foam between the baffle that seperates my fuge and return section. Everyday I have noticed it gets very brown? Any ideas ....maybe the phos remover?

I will finally have a wave in my tank. Its funny how little things can make you so happy in this hobby. I will be selling my four koralias and smart wave soon :). Can't wait to see my corals move in two directions for a change .

I have a 75 gallon but my skimmer barely fits underneath and i hate the center brace. I found a plan for a 2x4 design but I was wondering how difficult this process is for someone who is not great with woodworking but reasonably handy? Do I screw it, nail it or glue it?

I was thinking or redoing my 75 gal. with all Marco or reef saver. I don't care for the look of a rock pile. Could I get away with a fifty pound box? I have a sump that I could add some rubble and maybe another ten pounds?

I have a 75 gallon reef. Lps and softies only. I keep my Temperature at 77-79 and my salinity at 1.025. I use Red Sea coral Pro salt And currently don't dose anything. I want to start testing But I am not even sure what my level should be. Kal alk mag
