How long has your tank be setup? Also how deep is your sand bed? I have some ideas on green hair algae based on my experience and see if yours in similar to mine.

If you hit new posts there is automatically a filter applied. That is check marked unread. If you go to upper right thread menu area there is a filters button. If you uncheck marked unread and then check save settings it should come up the way it worked on vb. Im not sure I can globally fix...
