Mandarin Feeding Station-Need help soon!! (12/22/19)

I think I’d like to give a feeding a station a go anyway just to start. I haven’t seen him eat any mysis in my tank yet (think he’s eating the pods I added) and want to make sure he’s getting some nutrition. Thought a bottle a week of tigger pods in the station and then add another bottle to my...

Mandarin Feeding Station-Need help soon!! (12/22/19)

So I jumped the gun a bit I think. I bought a Mandarin with very little pods in my established tank (75 gallon). I added two bottles of pods two days ago when I added the Mandarin. I'm planning on continuing to add pods to my fuge..1-2 bottles/ week for a month until I get a good population...

Once one is up and running, how often would one have to add more pods?

    Mandarin Feeding Station for pods

How do you make a mandarin feeding station that houses pods? I’ve seen it done with brine, but is it possible to do it with tiggerpods? Thanks

Sorry hate auto fill on a phone. My question would then be how does the sand get moved when it is cover by larger pieces of coral, or many pieces of large coral? Do you just rely on your clean up crew at that point?

    Tank Envy

Hello. I’m shooting for creating a tank that really makes my friends and family sit and admire. I just cannot phantom how one cleans a tank like the one I have attached as an image. There isn’t enough room to siphon clean. Is it really just a matter of equipment at this point and pinpoint...

Tang being a pain in the Wrasse

I’ve moved some rock. Tang is still in time out. Bought two new fish. Hoping to confuse the guy a bit. Going to use a mirror as well when he goes back in next week.

Tang being a pain in the Wrasse

I’ll try that when I add the hippo back in. Maybe that’ll throw him off as well as my new additions and the change in rock work.

Tang being a pain in the Wrasse

I was under the impression he believes the water smell stays on the fish internally for a bit. 🤷‍♂️

Tang being a pain in the Wrasse

I did read somewhere that tangs don’t forget and once they hate a fish they hate them. Have you personally had success with QT of an aggressive fish?

Tang being a pain in the Wrasse

Any ideas on how to bring the aggression down? Would like to keep both and surprised the tang is hitting the wrasse. Could it be a pecking order thing?
