Share you experiences with Zoanthid growth and 6 Bulb T5 combos.

Some say they like "perfect white light(10K)," and I also hear they will pretty much like any lighting.

I know many combinations may work well, but anyone really notice a bigggg difference(?) with certain combinations(or patterns)?

I'm looking for an overall nice growth, nice colors, and an ideal color combo; and ones that work from experience.

I don't think lights are the only factor that play a role in colors and growth. What one person tells you that worked for them may not work for the next because they might have different water chemistry.

If you want growth, just stick a bunch of 65k bulbs in your t5 and let everything grow. After that, swap them out with blues and let them color up. That's what some Coral farms do.

Personally, I think the best thing you can do to grow zoas is dosing vitamin C.

Starting to think u have stock in vitamin c or something. I know u love it, but if it was the "cure all" don't you think everyone would be recommending it? Just curious. Bc it cures crypt, Hlle, makes Zoas colors pop and grow like crazy, walked the moon and the million man march. Etc etc

I should!

I also just found out today, it removes chlorine/chloramines in your tap water! Of course everyone's using it, or haven't you notices how many companies are adding it to their products lately???

Lmao to funny it is also what killed Kennedy hahahahahahahaha

IME, it may help with zoanthid "healing."

I've at least noticed some struggling zoas, opened up much better after dosing vitamin c; not saying to dose a bunch,

but figure out a daily dosage regimen and do it consistently (if you do decide to dose..lol).

Makes my skimmer pick up more junk too and water looks clean.
