A - 80 Kessil ?Disappointed...

I set up Nuvo Fusion 10 gal. Nano about 8 monts ago. I used temporary my old Chinese led box for couple months. I was so excited when Kessil A80 came up. Light looks good but..... I think it is too week for higher demanding corals like SPS or Anemone.... ? Can you guys give me your thoughts about it, please. Suggestions of different light I should go with.... also if I find different light this one will be for sell if anyone want it. Thank's for help in advance. ?

Definitely not enaugh for Anemone. I'll tried all kind of set ups with Controller. Anemone went from bottom where I placed it to the top and streching so much almost coming out of water ��
 
I read someone had problems with cheato on this light. I have radions and love them they are pricey but they work really well.

Zetlight UFO will keep all corals.

You said Ai Prime compare to UFO.
I have all the light used in my house Radion, Ai, Kessil and Zetlight. I know price on Ai Prime can not out performance of UFO coverage up to 36×36 inch area of tank and Par much higher. Also Ai have more issued too many reef keep call in for repair and exchanged.

Haven't had problems with mine but glad they fix it(AI PRIME CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH)good luck with yours.
 
Zetlight customer service they fixed and replaced all parts here too. But we never have any issued or returned from any Reef Keepers at all. That mean it good and reliable than.

This is my first Kessil light. Why would they make that kind of Light? I thought they are good, respected brand in that field...?
 
I'm picking up a fusion 10 tomorrow which has an a80 and I'm overjoyed.
I want it for LPS and Softies which honestly after reading massive build threads it does just great.
If I wanted sps or nems, I sure wouldn't pick the kessil a80. I think it'll do just fine for what I want and have seen a lot of success stories.

Curious why you chose the a80 if you wanted higher light livestock.
They can argue over what light is better, yap yap yap but in the long run you purchased an under powered light for want/needs? Don't see why the light is bad.

To answer your question, you might look into these.

AI Prime/HD
Or something the others are arguing about.
Just research want/needs before purchasing.

My Nano was running for couple months. A80 wasn't on the Market yet ( so I was using Chinese box which was way overkill and looked awfull over that little tank). So I didn't see any reefers revievs but Kessil said it is great light and will keep all coorals. So that's why I bought it. It never said it is not enaugh for SPS. Thank's for your advice.

Bah, sorry. After I reread my post, didn't sound like how I would "say" it. I didn't mean to be rude. This is why I usually lurk everywhere and keep my typing shut. Lol. Was honestly curious cause for what I want it to do everyone says theirs do great.
So for one to pop up that's different, I wanted to know what I shouldn't do with this light.
Let me know what light you decide on and how it does? I may wanna upgrade later.

Hey. No problem. I got Zoas, Leather, Candy Cane, Ricordeas, Blastos, Duncan, Frogspawn and Bubble Corals ( all in 10 gal Nano ��) and all doing great. Anemone and SPS looks like they need stronger light. Let me know your opinion after a while. Thank's
