Advice on yellow tang.

Ok I pick this yellow tang at Lfs he is skinny and looks like he got bully. I first seen it about two weeks ago. When in to get a blue throat trigger this weekend n it was still there. so lets say I got almost free. He swim around happy n eats good. Have him in the qt tank with bt trigger. Any suggestions or advice to get him healthy or it's to late? Not sure if I put this in the right forum.

does he eat ? i heard if the poop is whitesh and not solid might have internals then needs treatment if not and hes eating just keep feeding he fatten up eventually
 
Put some nori in there with a clip. That stuff works miracles. Also treat them both for parasites!
 
Yes he eats good n swims around normal. Will the nori bring my ammonia or nitrites up if I leave it for long time or take it out after an hour? Mlreef what u suggest on meds to treat him with? Thanks mlreef n madjoe for ur time!
 
I would run copper and PraziPro. As far as the nori just start out with small amounts and let him eat it.
 
I always have prime on hand in case of nitrates and ammonia treating both its great idea
 
while your there pick up as many different kinds of fresher seafood as you can, put it in the blender, best food you can get.
 
His doing good still. Gave him nori with garlic n been eating it. Gave krill to the trigger n the tang eats it too so far good. I don't think there is a Asian market but will look it up. Thanks again!
