Hi everybody. So I decided to buy new light for my 40 gal. Breeder SPS dominated reef tank. I bought 2 - 26 AI Hydra HD. It is a newest version. Im looking for help to set it up. Im really bad with all that technology. I know it is probably easy for most people. O well... I got app on my Samsung and I can find them and turn on with my phone but can't SYNC them and that's where I got stock. Who knows what's next.. Maybe you guys have these lights and could help me? Cant find good link how to set them :( . Or maybe someone wants to make a few bucks or get couple nice Frags for coming and setting them for me and showing me so I know next time. Let me know, please. I live in Naperville.
 
Great light! I have 2 Hydra 52 HDs over my display and a Hydra 26 HD over my frag tank. I love them!

First thing you need to do is connect your phone to the Hydra via wireless. The unit itself emits a wifi signal so you can connect to it. Just take your phone off your home wireless network and look for the Hydra's network to connect to. Once connected to the Hydra, you open up your myAI app and it'll detect the light. You then set the light to use your home wifi network. It will connect to your home network, automatically disconnect you from it, then you can log back in to your home network wifi. That's pretty much it. You can then control your light via cloud from anywhere.
 
Thanks. I'll try again tomorrow. If that will work. When I set colors % and time should I do it for each light or I can sync them somehow? Man it is so difficult for me... :(
 
you can do it that way where each light is represented by themselves or you can set it up as a parent and child relationship - 1 parent can control the other children. I only ever have to fidget around with one program and it controls all 3 of my lights but i have my DT lights separate from my frag tank light as well for when i just want to manually view my frag tank or my DT
