I'm pretty set on adding a Gold Assessor Basslet. Has anybody seen one locally?

Super cool fish, but beware they are do not generally hang out in the water column...cave fish. Only time I would see the one I had was feeding time~

That's a bummer. I read that they swim in the column after they settle in. Did yours ever swim upside down?

He did swim upside down! But mostly under the rock ledges...
They might spend more time in the water column if there's no completion...a coral beauty (drawn angel) was all it took to keep mine make him 'just pop out' once and a while.
Like I said, cool fish...but I would only get another in a super peaceful tank with minimal rockwork...just my 2cents
