Hello all as most might know I recently set up a bio cube with led. After transfering corals and a baby clam from big tank only thing that wasn't opening is my clam. I figured it was because the lights were to intense. But I had this clam on rocks mid way up under 400 halides. Anyways I lifted it up and around the foot were six small white snails with pointy shells. How to get rid of these. I'm sure they are cause of clam not opening. My second clam is wide open no snails. Any input would be great

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if an iodine dip will hurt/harm the clam. If not, that would be my suggestion. Good luck.

They are called pyramidellids snails and are parasites.I know some wrasses will eat them.Try to google how to remove them, as with time they will kill your clam.
