that was a good read. I'm currently setting up a FOWLR and wont be using a GFO reactor, so algae might be an issue as it won't be maintained as hardcore as a reef tank. I'm not planning on using bright lights, so algae might not even show up. I might dose algae fix weekly as a preventative measure.
