In essence, it's a more complicated version of vodka dosing. It uses the same principles in a reactor type scenario. You're better off with bio-pellets, they do the same thing without feeding the bacteria every few days.

Thank you.....I just wasnt sure what it was......So you think I sould just run a reactor, any suggestions? I am using a Berlin style Sump with macro and LR with a HUGE skimZ 151 on a 90 right now and 13W UV
