ATI Powermodule LED/T5 Hybrid review

Hi, after using this light for few weeks, I have gain enough experience with it to give accurate review. I know this is not very popular fixture due to cost, but for those who consider spending money for it, this will help them to make educated decision.

Build quality is excellent !!! Just like German cars, this fixture is top notch in every possible way, stylish, light aluminium and stainless steel body, 99% reflective silver coated reflectors, almost silent fans. This fixture is quite heavy, I would estimate about 40 Ibs.

Cooling fans are controlled by temperature sensors and turn on and off automatically when needed.

I own the 36" 2 x 75W Led, 8 x 39W T5 fixture, when all lights are on there is significant amount of shimmer, very close looking to MH and not typical led disco ball effect, that other led fixture have. Light blending is excellent. There are no optics , instead every led has its own reflector. There are four led colors in each cluster: red, royal blue, blue and white. Each cluster can be individually controlled as far as intensity and color. You can choose pre programmed options that represents ATI bulbs ( blue+, aquablue, etc.) or you can customize color as you wish by individually setting each led color to specified intensity. There are two T5 channels, each controlling 4 bulbs. All bulbs are dimmable from 0-100%. Unit comes with its controller, but I prefer using PC and ATI software to program my lights. You can download software from ATI website for free, hook it up your laptop to its controller via USB cable and you are ready to go. Programming is very easy and intuitive, when you set a cycle, you can preview it before saving it to fixture. Here is a sample of a program I am using at this moment.

Overall this is excellent fixture with almost no cons except price, but even the high sticker price you are getting excellent value for it. There is really no other light on the market right now that can compare with ATI Hybrid. It has the best of both world: ,leds and T5's.
