Bought this used with the brute container. He didn't have the instructions or manual. I had no problem setting it up but I don't know how to operate it exactly. I understand the pressure indicator tells me when to change the filters but I can't find the manual online that tells me what pressure to do that.

Also in a week, the filter with the digital read out display is already brown. Chicago water is bad I know but I don't know if I should change the filter. I was under the impression that he had this unit running since Feb which is only 4 months, but I don't remember seeing brown in it when I was at his house.

It is well worth the price.
 
TDS=total dissolved solids. It's a little meter you use to measure the water's purity. 0 TDS means 99.99999% water purity.

Also, just watching the BRS videos about RODI systems will most likely answer any and all of your questions. I think 80% of what I know about this hobby came from their videos. They are freaking sweet.
 
The digital thing is the tds meter. If you push the switch left it should be reading the water after the RO membrane and prefilters. If you push it to the right it will read the final output after the DI. The DI is te can that is turning brown which it does, but that doesn't mean it is bad. Just watch your TDS and change to DI when it starts to read more than 0 (or whatever you are comfortable with).

Remember when we talked if i remember you said you had that little box with silver button on the top of the last chamber switch says in and out elieve tjat is your tds turn it on and see what the reading is
