anybody have any info on this skimmer? I'm setting up a 250 tank with a 50gallon sump. Will be lps and softies no sps. I can pick it up new for $270.
But don't know if I should pull the trigger.
How is a meshwheel different from a needlewheel?
 
A meshwheel makes finer bubbles,resulting in better skimmate,if 300g is the max rating for the skimmer,you might want a bit bigger unit.
