Hey guys so as I'm still new to the hobby I was wondering if there is a way I can add a sump to my tank.
Current setup is JBJ 30g rimless, kessil A350, I don't have a skimmer yet waiting to get one. Have about 40lbs of rock 35lbs of sand, And have few coral.

Where there's a will there's a way. Just have to decide how you wanna do it. Can always drill it. But has to be empty. U can also possibly do a over the back overflow. I hate those...but you do have options

I would recommend drilling if that is even an option since it is running. You can do the HOB overflow but I would never set up tank that way. My cousins tank has one on his 125 and I hate watching his tank. The over flow freaks me out if it loses siphon. If it loses siphon then the tank may over flow since its not draining water to the sump.
