I though i would give a warning about these guys, got mine acouple months ago, very cool and calm eel that would eat just about anything, he was about a foot ar less at the time. Restocked my whole tank and now i have a yellow tang, foxface, starry blenny, snowflake, and a yellow fuzzy dwarf, added the fuzzy about two weeks ago, absolutely love him one of the prettiest fish i know. Nowadays the snowflake is about a foot and a half or so. Doing a feeding and the lion amd snowflake come very close to each other, tbe next thing i know the snowflakes fin is torn literally almost in half.
Currently, the effects of the last incident are healed. Starting to consider what type of eel im going to get next. Did another feeding yesterday and the next thing i know my eel got a hold of one of the fin rays of my lion, bit the fin ray right off. That was the absolute last string, now im definitely getting a new eel, most likely a ghost eel. Anyone else had a similar experience?
