Closed loop pump strength

For my 110 I'm planning on a closed loop instead of more powerheads (and I'm hiding the ones I have in rock lol) but what strenght? I was debating on a 1625 oceanrunner or an iwaki if I get an email back...

Any thoughts?

I did not. There was a member on here who had some for sale, but hasn't responded for a couple of days.

I plan on having two inputs feed into one, then have two returns, each with a SCWD since I can't find any flow diverters that are still in production....

It was marius. He had a 70 for $150 if I remember correctly... But the more I look into it, a mag18 is less with more flow... I dunno. Too much to think about.

Is 1800 gph too much for a 2 output? I could just get two mag drives and have enough flow right there.... It seems like that's not too much considering what vortechs normally do. I think unless I'm told otherwise that's what I'm gonna do.

Here's the design setup I'm considering. This is just a screenshot of 3d model I made with google sketch (love that tool!!!)

It's not super fancy, but it does the job. The bottom two holes are the inlets, which on the tank side will have two pvc tubes with holes drilled to pull from above the sand. Then the mag18 return will split, and each split will have a SCWD swapping the current back and forth. Overall water disbursement minus the SCWDs should be around 1400 gph. This should be pretty solid random-ish flow. Plus, I plan on building my current powerheads into the cement wall along the overflows so they will be more hidden. Is this too much? It doesn't seem like it, especially since the water will be going through diverse areas.
