I'd like to add a couple of clowns to my tank, but I'm worried my current fish might be too aggressive? About a year ago, I added some anthias and they were chased for a few days, but they something clicked and everyone stopped caring about them. I would hope the same would happen if I added a pair of clowns? I imagine an acclimation box could help with this.
I currently have:
-Adult Emperor
-11 year old Picasso trigger
-5 year old PBT
-6 year old Naso
-6 year old lemonpeel angel
-6 year old Niger trigger.
I'm wondering if I were to do this, what type of clowns should I go for?
I'd consider adding a few other small fish at the same time and I'm open to suggestions. I'd like to just do one QT process. The last time I had some anthias, they ended up disappearing. I think they might have just starved to death due to the competition at feeding time? Would a small school of chromis do better?
