We are currently working to improve delivery speed so that nearly all our US customers will receive their orders in 2 business days without having to pay for expedited shipping. This will likely be in place before the end of the year, although I don't think we'll make any formal announcement about it until we gather enough data to feel confident enough to make a public proclamation.

that would be great. i know it took almost a week last time to receive my shipment. california --> chicago is a loooong trip.

Exactly. We've read many forum posts from hobbyists that say a big reason why they shop with a particular online retailer is that they are geographically close to them, so they receive their orders in a day or two. We want all of our customers in the contiguous U.S. to have that experience when they shop with us.
