I dont like kits that have you silicone acrylic to glass. Silicone does not bond well to acyrlic and i have seen a number of baffles fail over time. In my opinion use glass baffles or just buy a nice acrylic sump.

Yea my 40 b sump now has bowing and lost acrylic baffles due to water pressure against them. A professional sump would be ideal! Im just exploring all options before I blast my bank account.

When i do diy sumps i just get 1/4 glass cut at the hardware store and sand the edges of the glass and silicone in place. In my experience the cheapest way to go but least features. Most nice acrylic sumps really are good value figuring if you buy a good one you will never buy it again. Plus you get probe holders, dosing line holders, sock holders, adjustable chambers, cord management and other things. I prefer Bashsea sumps but trigger and syerngy reef make some ones work checking out.
