Does anyone use a mat or other material under there refugium or wet dry filter ?

Just installed a new fuge underneath my tank and the vibration of the pump is killing me ! Any suggestions ?

I use a silicone pad inside my sump underneath the pump. You can also use them externally.

I put a mat and I thin line of silicone under the pump and what a difference! !!!!!!!

Or under the sump I bought a black indoor/outdoor carpet runner (sold by the foot) from Menards. It looks really sharp, has a felt texture and a rubberized and waterproof bottom/backing.

I used insulation board the pink stuff also can use kids play mat stuff the have at menards anything really bunch of mouse pads lol i had same issue drove me nuts

Thanks , I placed my wife's yoga mat in there for now , plan on getting something better .

I bought a 1/2" thick yoga mat from walmart and cut it up. I did a cutout exactly the size of my sump and fit it under. I hear no vibrations from the return, nor the skimmer.

I'm going to have to try that, my return pump is too noisey for me.

Go to menards and get the 1" pink foam u will have silence
