ED89s 10g nano build

well this is my first 10g nano build i know i hear it everywhere the smaller the tank the harder it is but its k im up for the challenge lol...well heres a list of my equipment i got currently..

basic 10g tank
filtration-hob fluval c2 currently just have the poly/foam pad
theo hydor 30watt heater i believe it is
coralia nano power head
coral compulsion 24 watt par38 led 14k g2 full spectrum
20lbs live aragonite reef sand
8lbs of live rock from a display tank at my lfs

the tanks been up and running for 3 weeks now i leave my lights on for 10hrs a day....ive been doing 15% water changes every week.....i check my params every 3 days so far every time i test my the water it doesn't seem to change at all so far I've been testing for
ammonia .25

nitrate 00pm


any suggestions on what i should do next im planning on keeping some softies and some spa

Do you have an ato? Parameters can swing very easily in smaller tanks if you dont stay on top of evaporation.

which test kits are you using? If amonia has stayed at .25 and you haven't seen any nitrate or trite, then it's isn't cycling. If the live rock was from a LFS display it should be plenty well colonized.
