hello my name is john and im taking the plunge into reefing im new to this but not new to aquariums i currently have a freshwater setups. im clearing out my 37gal tank. it measures 30x12x21 and have an idea of how to setup just wondering everyone's opinion. for lighting i have a 96w 4 bulb t-5 setup with 2 12,000k 1 420nm
1 460nm bulbs in it. for filtration im converting a wet/dry sump to a berlin setup, skimmer will be a seaclone bc i bought it new for $20, also was gunna use 2 phosban reacators 1 with biopellets 1 with gfo media. the tank with be running at bout 250gph out of sump also going to have a Hydor Koralia 425 in the tank as well with LS and bout 40lbs of LR to start. just looking to do mushrooms polyps and some LPS with a rosetip bubble nem. do u guys think this setup is good enough to keep what i want to keep. thanks for any info

Skip the bio pellets , mushrooms and LPS need some nutrients in water, you will starve them otherwise. How old are your bulbs? Personally I would just get rid of them and go with ATI bulbs, possibly 2x blue+, ATI purple and ATI coral+. If your bulbs are new they will do fine for time being. For flow you have enough for this type of corals you planning to keep. Instead bio pellets in second reactor run carbon, mushrooms are known to release toxins for chemical warfare against other corals. GAC will take care of this.

i bought wave point bulbs they r brand new i did some research and people were saying the par value on the wave points were a little better than ati and i paid 9 dollars a bulb found them on kens fish they were 15-20 everywhere else. i was gunna use seachem renew to fil the reactor to right amount since u need at least 2 in of reactor filled and i dont need that much gfo for my tank size. has anyone ever used renew and will that work or should i use a more aggressive type carbon?
