Hey guys here is the start of my first tank (Fluval edge 6 gallon). I'm cycling it now. I need to go buy an ammonia and nitrite tester but the nitrates are at 40. Any guesses on if you think its almost done, I can't wait to add some life to this guy! I know be patient..

cycle is done when ammonia and nitrite are zero and nitrate stops rising. 40 is pretty high and you may want to do a partial WC. Good luck with it, picos are a challenge but can be rewarding.

Hey thanks everyone! I just did a partial water change per your advice. Ya the left rock is probably where ill put my first corals the arch makes the right side kind of dark.

Nice. I like the rock work as well. Like someone said picos need alot of attention. The bigger usually the better. Either way good luck and it looks good so far.
