ok so ive tried prazi fish stopped fliking and scratching but all ready treated tanks for 3 weeks with enough prazi for a 200 gal system and pink tail has two on his eye wtf is strongest crap to kill this pia flukes . things ive treated with already copper prazi and quick cure basically formalin and melecanite blue or green dont remember

Try a freshwater dip if its just the last two. They hate it. Also, are you sure they're alive? They might have died but are attached to the eye or the eye has healed over them.

I think my fluke issue is subsiding. I've been using prazi for about a month now. I just turned the skimmer and carbon back on last night after the third treatment. Yesterday, my niger trigger had about six or so visible flukes on him. I think they were visible because they were dead or dying. They look just like the white ones that fall off when you do a fw dip. They look similar to a sesame seed but a little smaller and flatter. Today he only had one left. I'm going to do a big water change and treat one more time to be safe. All of my other fish look and act healthy. My sump still has a ton of pods thriving in it so they can definitely survive the prazi. The minimal coral I have I all alive but I think it could be happier.

Yep, it will be four treatments by the time I'm done (I think). I've gone through two bottles of the prazi and I need to buy a third. On the third treatment, I treated the tank with a full dose and then added about a half dose every three days because I wasn't seeing any much progress.

I only FW dipped three of my fish through the whole thing even though all of the fish were flashing at one point. I dipped one of the new anthias that brought the flukes in, just to confirm that it was in fact flukes. 30 or 40 flukes fell off of it. It ended up dying. Then my niger trigger and pbt were flashing a lot and each had flukes on their eyes. The FW dip provides instant relief for them, but does not rid them of flukes since the flukes and eggs are still in the water. The seemed much more comfortable immediately after the dip. I wouldn't worry about dipping unless they are aggressively flashing and damaging themselves or if they get the flukes on their eyes.

Between the three bottles of Prazi and the huge water changes in my 220, these flukes are expensive. Prazi will surely be a part of my QT process in the future.

The prazi made my water cloudy but one day of skimming and carbon made it crystal clear again. The fish also seem a little lethargic when the tank is medicated.

Its on the eye of my trigger only reason i know its still in there time for round tgree im out so gotta buy more

I'd catch and dip him if it's on the eye. You don't want a one eyed trigger. Plus, if it's unable to see, it won't be able to eat. I'd FW dip him and add some Quick Cure to the FW bath. This made the flukes peel right off of my fish. If I can catch an anthias in my 220, I'm sure you can catch a trigger in your tank. Good luck!

I will try its my tank design flaw gave them all a spot to hide where i cant get ti them . With my 3d rock wall and cave for eel they all go in cave and hide with eel bastard bit me last time lol

I've had to dismantle my rockscape twice to catch fish. I had to put three fourths of my rock in my sump to eliminate hiding places. My Niger Trigger is a biter too. He has big orange fangs and tries to bite anything that goes in the tank, including my hand. He goes into a full-on assault when I use the algae scraper on the class. Its' pretty funny, but it makes cleaning the tank a little stressful since I've always got to keep my eye on him. I never know when he'll pop out of the rocks and charge me.

Well after enough prazi pro to treat a 500 gal system in a 90 gal system u think the fuking flukes be gone well so did i then come home and trigger once again has flukes on his eye this time one on each . I need find stronger meds for it the prazi isnt cutting it and that chit aint cheap. I tell u what i will take ich or velvet any day over flukes . This chit sucks

Hell, with velvet or brooklynella you'll lose half your fish in 3 days! At least they can fight fluke.
