so i get home from work today, feed the fish per usual. then take a glance in the tank and i see my foxface stuck up against one of my mp10's (hes done this before but never for as long). instantly i lower the power down and he shakes loose.
now im guessing he was stuck there for some time because the side of his body that was up against the powerhead has indentations. soon as he gets free he kinda sinks to the sand and was breathing very rapidly. after about 20 min of me watching him pant, he gets up and swims to the corner of my tank where he again lays on the sand and pants. in the last 2 hours hes swam a bit and changed locations in the tank, but always reverts back to laying on the sand panting.
the lights are now off and hes in his "usual" sleeping spot. he seems to be swimming fine, when he chooses to. is there anything that can be done for him or should i just wait it out and keep monitoring his lively hood?
i think tomorrows feeding will be extra large.
