GFO reactor SPONGELESS ? are there any ?

bought a VERTEX GFO reactor & had to clean it after a week, the sponges got dirty, clogged flow down to a tinkle

think I saw BRS reactors that use " cartridge " to hold GFO & don't use sponges...

any input/experience with BRS or OTHER brands that are EASY TO CLEAN ?

I use the dual BRS and the carbon side with sponges does the same.

I would think a single reactor for GFO would not clog.

That said, I've been considering making some kind of filter sock for the inlet. Figured I could clean it with way less effort than emptying out the carbon and reloading.

I use a BRS dual reactor and it use to clog with in a week.

I modified it by cutting some of the plastic ribs out to allow more flow. Works better now but still use a sponge at the top.

My tlf 150 worked a lot better.
