They're cool but they really dig and limit the ability to put corals / clams in the sand since they will bury them other than that they're fun to watch!

I would think my clean sand is from my yellow watchman and high flow. This little fella has a few spots that he digs up and helps turn over the sand. Really, I think that is all it takes in my tank.
