HA. what they don't really understand is those bettas are FILTHY. even with us cleaning them every other day, they still look like that in the tubs every couple days. and they live in mud.

Hmm I haven't touched my betta tank in months and water is still crystal clear, just have a layer of algae on the surface and a half dead hornwort plant under a 25w standard light bulb. What causes those little betta cups water to get all polluted like that so quickly?
