J/w if anyone has used the Kessil 150 led light ..lookin at a 29g jbj cube but don't have a hood so lookin for a hood or any suggestions on another route to take thanks

not personally , lfs used on biocubes and looks amazing great growth , im a fan ! good luck im sure someone here has first hand exp.
 
Its a quality light but watt per watt the Cree X series LED will offer more PAR.

Have you considered DIY?. For a bit less you can do a 25 Cree LED 80 watt fixture that would give you the same results.

Kessil 150W is an awesome light..

i ahve always been a fan of Kessil lights. the colors are awesome and growth is wonderful.

but id say a kessil 150 is too small for a 28 gallon cube. you can have only lps and zoas in the lower section with sps at the top.
