Help Setting up a AMS G3 skimmer

Good morning all I just bought a used ams g3 skimmer. No matter if I have the tube all the way up or down it overflows. Is there a trick to finding the setting.Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thanks

If you put the tube down still overflow then you should check the impellar..May be it's not good..Dis you see lot of bubble in the skimmer when running?

Might need to build a platform out of egg crate or ovc to move it up some it maybe in to deep of water

Too much protein in your tank may be, if it is then need change some water..let see it's will slow down overflow..

The G3 is very tall, mine I don't need to raise up in 40B..but MJ could be right, raise it up.

How deep is the water that it is sitting in? Can you lower the water level in that section of your sump? It's probably too high?

I did lower the water but no help
