Hitchikers on Candy Cane Frag

Any idea what this plant like thing is on our candy cane frag?

they look like blue clove polyps.. they are pretty cool. they grow all over the live rock and corals. i have some and it grows around my corals and rock without killing anything.

Yeah, they will pretty much be out of control all over your rocks. It's up to you if you want to keep them or not. If you can confine them to a specific spot that would be nice, but they tend to be more out of control.

they are more of a brownish color, kinda cool looking.

What do you mean by Kalk?

Same thing you do with pest aptasia & majano anemones. I mix a thick paste of kalk & spread it on them to kill them. If they are too close to other corals, it will kill them too.

so seeing that there are that close to my Candy cane, probably not a good idea to Kalk them then?

I use Joe's Juice on aptasia, is this a type of Kalk?

no joes juice is like a lemon juice she is referring to kalkwasser is a mixture of freshwater and lime i think thats what is in it anyhow

You could just try to peel it off your frag.
